Have you ever wondered if magic is real? If sorceresses exit in real life?
Well, wonder no more. Magic and sorcery is real, and it all comes from the author of this extraordinary novel, SARAH J. MAAS.
What kind of magic does it take to weave a story such as this? What kind of genius mind, what kind of goddess of storytelling is capable of taking the most lush world and amazing story and confining it to 200,000 words that will stay with you until your dying day?
You might think, "Erika, you're being a little over-dramatic. There is no way anyone could write something that good."
Well I challenge you to read it then. Tell me you can find an author who has more expertise in developing character arcs and strength of plot and world-building than Ms. Maas. Every word. Every character. Every event. Every object in this book, from the fine cracks in the streets of Velaris to the skies filled with hideous demons, has a significant role and meaning to the story. Everything serves to drive the plot forward with deliberate, exciting intent.
I'm not going to write an in-depth review. Someone else on Goodreads wrote a review rife with GIFs that appropriate describe every emotion I felt when reading the book. I can't do a better job of explaining how wondrous this book was. Here is the link so you can see it yourself:
